Tui: A Visual Exploration

My project uses an experimental approach to create a visual representation of a native New Zealand bird, the Tui. It is a personal interpretive exploration that uses poetic aspects rather than aiming to be scientifically accurate. I have explored different kinds of physical media, such as painting, illustration and photography to articulate five aspects I focused on. These aspects are movement, behaviour, physiology, habitat and sound. The Publication pulls together the most successful experimental elements from a larger body of work to create a cohesive sequence of visual material.
